Since its founding in 1993, Adria Winch has specialized in the design and manufacture of high-quality deck machinery. Over the years, we have earned a strong reputation for delivering reliable, durable, and trouble-free equipment tailored to meet the demanding needs of the maritime industry.

COMPANY HISTORY

1949

Establishing

Dalstroj is founded in Split, Croatia, specialising in machine tool manufacturing, precision machining, electronics, and hydraulic control. At its peak it produces up to 1,000 machines annually, with a strong presence across former Yugoslavia, Eastern and Western Europe, and Canada.

1988

Establishing

Adria Winch is established, bringing focused expertise in deck machinery design and manufacture for the maritime industry.

1993

Transformation to LTD

Adria Winch restructures as a limited liability company, formalising its position as a dedicated maritime equipment manufacturer.

1995

Acquisition of Dalstroj

Adria Winch acquires Dalstroj, integrating its precision machining infrastructure and engineering heritage into the maritime production line.

2001

Entering the Russian market

Adria Winch expands into the Russian market, supplying deck machinery to shipowners and operators in one of the world’s largest maritime regions.

2006

Entering the Norwegian market

Adria Winch enters the Norwegian offshore and maritime market, gaining a foothold in one of Europe’s most demanding and technically rigorous shipbuilding environments.

2014

Establishing AW Norway

Adria Winch Norway is established, providing local sales and technical support to Scandinavian clients and reinforcing the company’s commitment to the offshore sector.

2023

AW acquired by GOE Group

Adria Winch is acquired by GOE Group, joining a broader industrial platform that strengthens its capacity for growth and international market development.

2026

Integration of Dalstroj in AW

Dalstroj is fully integrated into Adria Winch, uniting over seven decades of precision engineering expertise with AW’s deck machinery capabilities under a single structure.
